Hey Can-down, Actually I am very please with the product. I did not have the chance yet to bring it to the shooting club but I took it outside during a sunny day and this little unit is just amazing. I could easely see the green dot on a tree at 100 feet. At the range I will try it at the 300 feet distance in 2-3 weeks from now. I did not try rechargable cells. Overall the viridian is very small, light and powerfull. Its "must have" if you whant a top notch laser/light combo.

SM

Thanks,
It's been on the list for a while......They don't recommend using rechargeable cells though due to a voltage discrepancy which is too bad. It would be nice to be able to run rechargeable cells.

Well under some great advice of a fellow CGN member, I made a photobox that looks like this, cost me $20 to make. I am pleased with the results as know these new photos I took of my M&P pair were only taken with an Iphone. Now when I can pony up for a new cam I'm certain pics will turn out better, but the box and lights made a BIG difference IMO. :)

Here is the box I built out of 1/2" PVC pipe and a wallmart sheet and some zip ties

Now here are some photos I took using the photobox I made, think for an Iphone they turned out quite nice?

didn't realize so many others had bada$$ photos of their guns! If people are describing how they took some of their photos I guess I should be too.. Mine was the glock on the first post of this thread. I used a black couch as the background, mounted my camera to a tripod, sat my gun up against the glock case, had scotch tape on the bottom of the pistol to prevent sliding around on the glass i had it sitting on, i was using two very large umbrella strobes that were wirelessly synched to my camera to flash when i took the shot. A lot of work goes into making nice photos thats for sure! once i snapped the photo, i put it into photoshop, edited out the tape, dust, and anything i found to be out of the ordinary :)

That looks really cool with the backstraps switched around.

Not much attention paid to the quality of the shot but it does smell "Tactical"

ugghhh, I thought I was safe...
The FNP has had a place in my heart for a long time, for reasons I can't explain
This is almost enough to make me want a pistol...

Disclaimer: I'm not a fudd. Just a lack of options for a) ranges, b) focus has been elsewhere.
