some higlights....

1) #2 from the left is a pretty cool guy. Well all of y'all actually. But he was my shooting buddy. Hope to shoot with him again.

2) Wicked was definately the teachers pet ;) His groups were also sickeningly perfect, as usual :rolleyes:

3) The Norinco M4 was the star of the show in terms of non-stoppages, the WP SR15 was a crowd pleaser, and seemed to need a bit of TLC until the lube was sprung out (high maintenance always needs lube :redface:) Maybe he just likes the attention :D

4) Tritium seems to have been there, done that. I'm glad I was able to participate in this course

Was cool to hang out with you folks for a day, I will definately be keeping an eye out for further instruction from Darren & co.
 
Everything is finally dried out, guns cleaned and lubed and most of the mud has been scrubbed off! :dancingbanana:

I had a great time too! It's always a pleasure to meet and work with like- minded individuals and I learned some valuable things as well (as usual, I tend to learn something from every course I teach).

One day, I'll be a genius like Wiley Coyote! :p

Punisher, we can set courses anytime! Do you think some of the Frontenac crowd would be interested in anything?
 
.. I was smart and swapped out the AR for some Swiss Engineering at mid day.. That's the only sure cure for AR's. ;)

However, dudley's little Norc M4 shot like a champ.

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I know a few of us would be interested. However, I am willing to travel to Grenville or other ranges within a few hours of Kingston.
 
I was actually quite surprised by the Norc M4.

Excellent bargain. Ambi controls, accepts aftermarket parts. Most guys wont' shoot their AR enough to kill it so I think it's a great return on investment.

Dudley certainly showed that he knows how to operate his!

I'd be half tempted to get one as a back-up gun to my teaching gun but I'm going to build something on an ATR lower me-thinks.

I totally agree, the Norc and the 9mm had no issues that I saw at all (I as on that end of the line so didn't see all the others) and as I mentioned at the beginning of the class, it's an awesome value.

I'm glad someone was pleased with the SR-15, cause until I realize it was the rain and mud causing the bolt to move sluggishly and all it needed was a squirt of lube, I was pretty annoyed. lol

And Tritium is a great instructor. Got the points across clearly and concisely and was able to have fun with the appropriate level of humor based on the audience. :D
 
great day but damn i was tired after that, i have to say im amazed my norc managed to keep chugging the entire shoot, learned allot and had tons of fun definitely interested in doing something like this again.

and tritium if your looking for a back up gun let me know :p

Agreed.

I can't believe someone thought he was going to hold back the class. That person needs to step off their high horse and get their nose out of the air.
Jackass that he is, it didn't surprise me to hear it though.


If anyone was holding back the class, it was me and my dirty, dry gun! lol
Although the worst that was happening was a failure to lock open on an empty mag due to sluggish movement of the bolt.

Live and learn!! :D

I must say though, that there is no rust anywhere on the gun, unlike a couple others I've heard of... ;)
 
It was a fun course, excellent instruction (thanks tritium) and a great group of people to shoot with.

I did more transitions and other very interesting maneuvers (several for the first time) in one day than in 15 years of shooting.

And thanks to Farmboy and whomever else was behind the scenes for putting it together and arranging the course, the range, lunch and nice cool weather for us.

Yeah the kid can shoot really good.
 
I think I'm gonna get some Norc stuff seeing how well Dudley's performed :) seeing is believing.
