I did this course last year, and a few others. I'd like to take this course again, but it seems there is a risk it won't run due to inadequate interest. I don't get it. These courses are amazing! The instructors are great! They'll give you new skills, or hone those you already have. With all the whining, and calls for good training courses, I don't understand why, when it's available, people won't get on board. You're missing out, and you're making me miss out as well. Come on out and make yourself better. You'll be glad you did. You don't have to be a Superstar, but if you already are, no problem.

That's because its being held in the wrong province ;)
 
I did some training with Tritium last year (rifle, handgun, low light, shotgun) I would do it again this year but it's just to far east for me. If it were to move to Silverdale again I would sign up in a heart beat for tactical basket weaving if Tritium was teaching.

To hazard a guess:
  • Safety, range safety rules, safe range etiquette.
  • Fundamentals of rifle shooting
  • Rifle set-up and allied equipment set-up
  • Proper firearm manipulation
  • Sighting and Zero (use of iron sights, scopes, red-dots) .
  • Fundamental development and Accurate shooting (Breaking the perfect shot)
  • Sling set-up and use.
  • Armour/Load-bearing equipment set-up and use, (if applicable)
  • Rifle/pistol transitions
  • Multiple shots / speed shooting/Multiple target engagements.
  • Positional shooting/shooting from awkward positions
  • Getting off the “X”
  • Cover/Movement/ Team shooting (pairs).
  • Team communication for competition and operations
  • Rescue drills (if applicable to participants)
  • Developing practice drills

Now I feel like an idiot for not looking at the course description on Oneshot Tactical's site.

Awesome! I certainly want to take this course now.
 
Guys, One Shot has said in other threads that if you organize a course and get at least ten people to sign up they will travel to your area and you attend for free. PM him for details.
 
Ok, so when I talked to Darren earlier about the course, he said that they still needed one more person. I've since signed up and sent payment for the course (and a new lbv :D), so everything should now be good to go.
