I have a tapco stock and am satisfied with it. Mine is the tactical trainer which is made for the .920 and has rails for all four sides of the forend. personally i do not use any of them and prefer mine with the cover in place. It is a ruged light weight stock and is easy to disassemble. Mind you I dont think 10/22s need to be taken down on a regular basis. A good enough cleaning can be preformed with the action in tact.
What i like about the tapco is the adjustable stock lenght which you can shorten when shooting from a bench.
Alot of people find the forend to have a bit of flex to it so it doesnt free float well i found this true with a 16" heavy barrel.
I was still able to group within half an inch at 50 yards. I now have a 12" barrel and it flexes much less accuracy is the same.
Not that im the seller but if you search there is a real deal on a tapco in the rimfire parts exchange right now you could snap up.
Just a tip you can use a standard contour barrel in the tactical trainer model if you wrap duct tape around the barrel to the thickness
of the heavy barrel and it becomes quite rigid in the forestock although im sure to get some flack for typing this.
