Hey I'm new to the scene/forums and I just ordered my first gun (TM22 PRO 16") a few days ago, it should be arriving in the next couple of days. I was just wondering what you guys think of these kinds of scopes? I ordered this one off amazon, it's a 3x-9x with a red/green dot and a laser - I couldn't decide on whether I wanted a red dot or a lpvo so I figured why not go with something like this instead. Did I make a bad decision?

Yes, but that's how most of us started.
aw, dang it.

Normally they have very chunky reticles, poor eye relief, poor glass and most are airsoft quality and likely will replace it in a few months.
Ugh, thanks for the info its unfortunate but maybe I'll get lucky haha.

This is the budget lpvo that I bought for my Mossberg and it's a great little unit..UUQ is a well rated offshore brand..

You'll find you won't use the visible laser, not worth the weight and bulk. I bought a compact Redfield one for my GSG 15 and never once turned it on.
Yeah nice scope, that thing looks really clean! Yeah I was planning on removing the laser anyways I don't really need it. Just looked up some redfield scopes looks like they can be pretty pricey? Well I'll just have to see which scope I like using more, the red dot or the zoom and then I'll just have to do some research and purchase a higher quality scope once I know.

I don't normally buy new optics as I'm not a high end optics user so I buy used here on the equipment exchange. The Redfield red dot was about $150. For your TM22 you don't need anything too fancy. It's a plinker. But you need something that looks cool! There's a TM22 page on Facebook with great accessories and commentary.

True enough, that's cool I'll have to check out those forums And yeah I don't care how cool it looks I just wasn't sure what I'd like more (red dot/reflex/holographic or a lpvo/acog/prism.. etc) I already ordered a sling + bipod, angled foregrip + reverse faux suppressor from tommyenterprises.
Also I've been trying to find some 25 round mags but it's like everywhere in Canada is sold out atm :(

I would suggest you return that optic to amazon, buy something a little better quality without breaking the bank. It will actually hold up and be useful.

Red dots like bushnell trs25, sig Romeo 5, vortex sparc etc.
Or a lpvo like a vortex crossfire, primary arms 1-4 etc.

This way you can try one out see if you like it, if not it will actually have some resale value on the used market.
