Did anybody build one from scratch ? Don't want to buy a Berreta,Benelli, Fabarm but I'd like to build one using some cheap Remington for ex.
Any suggestion on stock, accessories etc ... ? Pics, links ?

Any help will be appreciated :bigHug:

Mine started out as a 28" 2 3/4 Rem 1100. I bought for 349 at Epps.

Then I got the barrel chopped down to 18.7", Added a Speed Feed 13" LOP Pistol Grip Fixed Stock, Syn Forearm, +2 Ext Pinned to +1 ( For looks ) Barrel Clamp, Jumbo Safety, Choate Combat Charging Handle, Side Saddle and Front Sight...

That's whay I'm speaking about !!
thanks for all the info in your post Craftsman, this will be usefull !

Looks like I'm in the market for a 1100 !

OK, I've got mine so now hunting down parts
I read that most parts of the 1100 are compatible with the 870 (from guns.ru)so my question is: will a top folding stock for 870 fit a 1100? Somehow I doubt it, but maybe someone tried.

Thanks

No because the Rem 1100 has a buffer tube on the back of the receiver, its about 6" long and on a downward angle, So a folder wont work with it.

870 Side Saddles, Mag extensions, Some receiver mounts (if they got the cut out for the charging handle to slide by) Fixed buttstock, Most of trigger mech parts, Sights.

ok, thanks, so a collapsible stock (AR15) would be the answer but I don't think anybody is making one :sad

I talked to Mesa Tactical, They were thinking of making a adapter to fit the Rem 100/1187 so you can use a M4 stock on it, but being that the angle of this 6" tube that houses the return spring, It be a funky angle. It pretty much runs 45 degrees down.
