tactical shotgun sling + mounts

I am looking for a tactical sling for a remington 870

the model will likly be an 18 inch synthetic possibly with mag extention and bayonet mount

what kind of sling and mounts would others use for this kind of set up
 
Blue Force Gear is the only way to go for slings.

A S&J Hardware single point sling plate and a Vickers sling would work well.
 
a word of advice. I strongly caution anyone who wishes to mount their sling to the end of the magazine tube. With enough slack in the sling and some aggressive movements it is possible to shoot your own sling. I know, I've done it twice....With other people's shotguns :)

I have a S&J sling plate AND blue force gear anaconda and (many) BFG adapters for all my guns. It is the ONLY way to fly. :)

A sling point shotgun is a beautiful thing... from open fields to the dense forest of northern MB, I'm telling you it works.

Vest adapter and universal short loop for the boy, the male strap adapter from the anaconda on the strap of my maxpedition monsoon gearslinger; fabarm with S&J sling plate attached with universal loop. GTG. The pic below is the terrain we contend with up north. :D

BFG Anaconda on mine too. Great for whatever. I just came back from hunting and it's great to be able to have the shotgun at the ready but out of your way, it keeps your hands free to do stuff.

As long as our boy here keeps selling BFG, I don't think I'll go anywhere else. They have great products.
 
so, where do i buy this gear ? does target sports in stouffville carry the mount - cause they're listed as a delaer ? and the sling ?

yes targetsports sells both the slings which come from www.oneshottactical.com and single point sling mounts which comes from me www.sjhardware.com we allso carry the slings as well.

I've copied Nine's sling set-up on my Norinco HP-9, so I can say wholeheartedly it is a good system.
I haven't gotten the back pack yet, but the anaconda sling works a treat with the 870 sling plate. :)

Also kudos to oneshot tactical for their service, and the products they are bringing in. :)
 
hmmm i was hoping for a two point attastchment and to be able to sling the weapon behind my back to leave my hands free to do other tasks such as read maps set up camp
 
You can either go with a sling plate for the front or you can use the BFG wire adaptor for the front.

It's a coated wire that will attach the BFG slings to anything.
