I've always wanted to buy a tactical shotgun. I've waited and waited... Sorta like buying a hot rod from a guy that's spent good money.... AND NOTHING!!!!

So...
I bought an 870 Express at the gun show the other day brand spanking new for $300 and I want to make this unit THE UNIT....

Does anyone have any good deals, ideas or any recommendations?
I really don't want to spend over $700 on this thing all in all..

You should probably start with a list of requirements for what you want the shotgun to do rather than a list of stuff to hang off of it for a certain dollar value.

If, for example, you want to use it to shoot IPSC shotgun or multigun matches, go to some matches, see what guys who can drive the guns well are using, and ask them why they config their guns the way they do. People put stuff on guns because it works for them....it may not work for you.

As a start, all you probably need is a mag extension and some kind of higher visibility bead, assuming a bead shoots to point of aim for you and your loads of choice. If not, then you're probably looking at some kind of replacement sighting system.

Then figure out how you're going to reload the thing and practice that a lot....sidesaddles/detacheable shell carriers/belt rigs....all have their advantages/disadvantages, so you'll need to figure out what you are most efficient with.
