Tactical Shotguns.......Looking at this one.

Sig_1959, I hear ya on the "explain it to the police", but you have to admit, there are many other situations that the police might question too... Just imagine getting stopped with your non-restricted VZ 858, as far as they would be concerned you're in possession of a AK47... They'd be wrong, but you'd still get put through the wringer...

Cheers
Jay
P.S. Zuki, sorry to take your thread off course, glad to hear you got a good deal on a 870... Keep in mind that CanAm is talking about bringing in barrels, so you could pic up a 12.5 inch barrel and it should fit right on your 870, add the pistol grip and your good to go with a 22 inch camp gun...

I don't care..... :)

Thanks for the tip, I will keep my eyes on their website...

Also, a collapsible stock is a no-no if it changes the length from above 26" to below 26".

Sandroad, have a look at this thread for some info...

Here is some text from it...

This post is to provide information to all of you and to those who have purchased the Dlask Arms short-barreled shotgun. A dispute has arisen as to whether it is a non-restricted firearm or a restricted firearm. Similarly, the Dlask P.A.C. 5 (pump-action) Carbine is the focus of an identical dispute.

As it stand right now the DLASK modified Remington 870 with 8.5” and pistol grip is currently NON-restricted and only the SMD-12 marked receivers are restricted.

Cheers
Jay
P.S. With all the twists and turns our gun laws have, it sure isn't easy making sense of them...

"stop speeding to the range" ??

The whole point of a non-restricted is that you can use it outside the range. I'm sorry, but letter or not packing around a 22" OAL shotgun in the bush has not yet been verified as legal. Is there not a court case pending on this exact issue?
