Tactical shotguns?

My tactical "tacticool" shotgun plays the most important roll a gun can have. I come from a circle of friends that believe that owning firearms is"red neck" and "hillbilly". But upon seeing and admiring my modded up 14" Fabarm, 4 of my friends have caved and got their licenses because they didn't know they could own a "cool" firearm. They're big into games such as call of duty and movies about war and my rifles and bird guns don't fit into their ideas of making gun ownership worth it.

So essentially my mall ninja gun is inspiring people who would have otherwise never owned a firearm to join the cause. Opening peoples eyes, doing away with their ignorance and getting them excited about firearms is the most important thing any one of my guns can do.

I use my 590A1 to raise my heart rate at the range and to calm me down and let me sleep soundly at home. If the day ever comes where bad guys are coming in the windows you can bet that the Glock will be in my pocket and the Mossberg will be in my hands at the top of the stairs... but mostly it just makes me smile and giggle to myself that a .22 pistol is "restricted" and therefor too dangerous for most people to own but 9+ rounds of 00buck loaded into this howitzer is perfectly sensible to have around...

If you get into tactical anything, you will need a full length mirror for extended periods of dress-up, practicing your bad ass face and reciting your action movie one liners. Also, you will need a digital SLR cause most of the shooting you will be doing is glamour shots of your guns surrounded by knives, loose ammo, glasses of scotch and multiple passports. Cheers,

Patrick
.........very true.

This is a great way to see it. Thank you for opening my eyes.
While I own and have owned many Tacifool "shotties" Some times all the mall ninja crap gets to me.

With the pumps, it's the one area where the firearms laws/regs, etc. allow you to play with the real stuff without having it neutered by capacity restrictions etc.
In the case of the short barrel shotgun it's also the only area where we have it better than the Americans.
So I answer to the question why? My answer is because I can and it's the only way I can.

I like the idea of them because it's our right to have (until the libs get back into office) one and carry it unrestricted in the bush, gravel pit, or gun range. AND tacti-cool guns really* piss off yuppie half-liberal conservation officers :)

tactical

I forgot to mention one of my favourite uses for a tactical shotgun.....

Pissin' off the snobs @ the skeet/trap range!! LOL
The 590 with bayo is perfect!

They love the 14in'er too! Nice and loud

LOL -- Ain't that the truth? And seriously, in a past life of mine and in a past line of work, a short barrel Remington 870 was the go to gun when the going got tough. Today, I look at my Benelli M4 and just grin.
