Tactical sights for rem 870

How hard is it to install the sights from TacOrd?

Easy.....for a professional. I would rather not experiment even if I had the tools. Somethings I don't mind trying out for myself, as long as the possible dollar loss doesn't exceed $20:D. You have to drill and tap the receiver for the rear sight and the front is epoxied I believe.

Brownells will not send them to you direct as they are an American company.

does anybody know, if any company makes a ghost ring sight that mounts on to a weaver base? and where i could possibly get a set

Precision Sales International (PSI) makes one - the BAR11W - that is part #625-000-002 at Brownells (although it's presently showing as out-of-stock). The trade price is US$80.35 but the retail price is US$119.95. They can, and will, ship to you.

However, if the total parts value in the order exceeds US$100.00 a US Export permit is required. If a US Export permit is required, Brownells' export department will lead you, step by step, through the process. Then, Export permit in hand, Brownells will ship to you.

If either you or someone you know gets the trade discount from Brownells then an Export permit would not be required.

I'm not allowed to hotlink. You know what to do.

Have you actually received parts from them? Because my order was cancelled and I was told that is because I am in Canada. I misread the sticky, you can get the parts but I guess Brownells misinformed me. At any rate watch what you post. Disrespectfull implying I'm a a liar.

Before getting pissed and mouthing off like you had I decided to research this a bit further and found this; http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51554 see question 4.

Call them and talk to them. If your order was cancelled there is some particular reason that can be easily explained, such as a prohibited item or shipping restricted item or payment problem. EG - They can't ship: most chemicals; "high-capacity" magazines; class 3/machine gun parts; items that require an Export permit (unless they have the permit).

I have a new Brownells box arriving each month. (And I live in Canada.)

I realize why. I didn't get the appropriate paperwork as per the stickies here. Although it's bizarre that they didn't tell me that. At any rate it was only a stock bolt and receiver stud so I found the Remington distributor in QC and ordered through them.

As it was a "shotgun part".

I had to buy it locally, and at 3 times the cost. :(
