Tactical Sniper .22?

Holy crap! Nice! I placed an order at whole sale, they said they were expecting them in the next few days. The TRR SR that is; for some reason previously I was under the impression it was only in .17 HMR. I'm glad its not

I'm shopping the TR or TRR-SR and can't decide if I'll like the rails or not. I understand they both come with the big bolt, the TRR-SR has threaded barrel (what will you put on there?) and rails.

Help me decide thanks!

Unless you've got a specific use for the rails why spend the extra money on something that will not be of any benefit? Take the extra money and get the rifle bedded by a competent gunsmith. At least you'll be doing something to get the rifle to shoot as consistently as possible.

I really dig the look of the rails on the TRR, but honestly...in the flesh, they're pretty large and kind of sharp in the corners. They also add allot of width to the rifle, I think you'd be surprised when you see it. I like to carry my rifles with a sling when hunting, and wouldn't be surprised if that thing would dig into my side when hiking.

If it were for range use, I'd probably already have a TRR. :)

I just like the tactical look; I mean I am going to build an AR definately in centerfire; this is my sniping gun to shoot all them gofer sons of #####es haha. I hope its not too bulky!

I think a vortex scope; nothing too fancy

I dont think they make them anymore h ttp://www.troupsystems.com/rifle%20stocks.htm
+1

However, even if they still do it, it was only for 10/22 AFAIK.
Nice stock though.

Got it. Money going to accurizing / scope.

Thank you. I don't know what I'd use the rails for. All I'm doing is mounting a scope. I'm new to all this and didn't wan to "miss out" but it sounds fine to skip the rails.
