Do any of our fine Canadian Suppliers stock the Tac-Sol threaded barrel? Also does anyone currently have one they don't need any more??:) or do I have to order one from the Excited States of America?:p:canadaFlag::p

It would be nice if we could get some of the Tactical Solution Pac-lite barrels for the ruger pistols in Canada without having to go through the import hassle!
 
Hey guys, sorry for the thread jack, but I've just receive an email from Dan at Hawtech Arms and he told me that I cannot order barrel anymore from US. He said that barrels are no longer an item that can be exported legally! Any info on that?
 
I hope for you that I'm wrong too! I have found a Canadian retailer that is currently working on getting GM products. The name is "Bits of Pieces". I've already contacted guys over there and they told me that they will come back to me with this...

I got my last barrel from Barry at bits of pieces. Great stuff. Good guy to deal with too.

I contacted Rimfire a while back now and they said that they can ship barrels and cited the us postal service's regulation.

I am not convinced though. I KNOW it says somewhere that barrels can not be shipped up from the states.

For those that have done it... Did customs open your parcel? You would have known by the yellow tape. And if you didnt pay duty, then you know they didnt look at it.

Canada Customs opens EVERYTHING I order. They must know I am building 10/22s of mass destruction.

i ordered my barrel from rimfire. they marked everything i ordered on the box, so it says barrel and comp 22lr and the price. i paid no duty and buying from rimfire sports shipping is free:dancingbanana:

They stamped it BIG RED LETTERS, CLEARED CUSTOMS.
The Customs Declaration label clearly stated 22LR Threaded Barrel , Compensator, with all prices listed.
No they did not open it, they saw no need.:slap::p

you are not getting it.

I tell you what. I will pay you $50 on top of the cost of a black 16"bbl with compensator.

You order it, put my name and address as the ship to address and make sure you get a shipping method with a tracking number.

I'll pay you when the shipping tracker indicates I took delivery.

If I am wrong, you get an easy $50. If I am right. You gain an understanding of how customs works.

Is there an emoticon for "Put your money where your mouth is."?

I dont even need a barrel. I just want you to see the difference between the over worked agent sliding something along his desk and rubber stamping it vs actually doing his propper spot check.
