Tactical Solutions Threaded Barrel

Thats not the bet. Something might slip by customs that way.
Theres no slipping...people order them all the time. They just have their permits in order
Ordering by someone who has a reg flag on them is another story i guess, because i've never had an issue

So you went and got your $500 export permit and waited the 2 months for it to clear before you ordered your barrel?

I doubt it.

I dont understand why people are having such a hard time with me on this one.

You cant import barrels. Not the way rimfire ships them anyway. (You'd have to do it like Questar does)

People do it the wrong way all the time, rarely getting caught. But that doesnt make it ok to do. Because there is a risk in getting caught and losing your shipment.

Now maybe I understand this all incorrectly. All I have to go by is what I went through and my understanding of the rules. But nobody is coming out and explaining it with the facts to back up their proclaimations that is all good and fine. Its just a whole lot of speculation.

And why has nobody taken my bet? Because you know... that there is at least a good chance that I am right and you dont want to lose your hard earned cash. And I dont blame you.

I dont really feel like arguing about it anymore. Order whatever the hell you want. I was just trying to let people know that there is a risk in doing that.

$500 dollar permit..lol..
you have no clue man...i'm guessing you ordered a prohib part and are now red flagged...the rest of us are fine and ordering away..
fact of the matter is,they just really don't care..and it would be nice if you stopped bringing attention to that fact
They're doing it,no one cares,stfu

Hard to imagine rimfire does not understand the laws regarding exports to Canada.

They won't ship the Tac Sol Pac-lite products to Canada because they are barreled receivers.

Hey Walt, Are we going to get to see some pics of your new barrel?:dancingbanana:

heh..it's not the bet...i know that's probably a loser because you've been flagged, like i said..i'll gladly order you one then ship it to you..so the problem is with you,not RFS or customs
The pissyness is from you just not being quiet..
Shhhhhh...somebody club that Seal!

lol. Theres no problem with me. I always get my stuff. (Except for that one barrel) They just always check now because they got me once. They cant take my property that I am legally allowed to have. From tools and parts to household items. They check almost everything. But they do check absolutley everything that I order from Brownells, Rimfire and the like so its a sure thing that they would open and inspect the barrel if you did order one.

Of course with my luck... if you did take the bet, that would be the ONE time they just slid it along. Then I'd be out $50 and I'd have bought a barrel I dont need.

So yeah. Do watcha like.

Just trying to save somebody else the same loss of $$$ I suffered when they "destroyed" my 16" 1911 barrel.

I will "Shh" now in hopes of everyone getting their barrels and also in hopes of not getting clubbed.

What is your bet meant to illustrate?

1. that barrels cannot legally cross from the US to Canada or
2. that you, personally, have problems doing the above.

If your point is #1 then what's the problem with shipping to Ronin's address?

Baby Seal is right... I deal with US Customs all the time on firearms parts.

Barrels, stocks, optics... are all items that require an export permit. You may get by... just like the thousands of pounds of marijuana that get through... but that doesn't make it any more legal!

Canada customs do not care if it's a barrel or other non-prohibited gun part. I did the export permit thing with Numrich for some AR15 barrels, shipped the exact same way they ship everything else to me, no "export permit" attached, nothing at all different to distinguish it from their normal orders. It is all US law requirments for them to ship to us here.

Oh I love my new unobtainable Barrel!!:p
Pics to follow shortly!!:dancingbanana:
