Curious as to the frequency the plastic buffer should be changed, on the TS Orange the plastic buffer is actually holding the guide rod in place. Without the plastic buffer the guide rod would be banging around under the barrel barely touching it. Seems cheesy but CZ knows more than me I guess. Wondering about others experiences with plastic / nylon buffers, how long before they should be changed. Thx for the input !

I used to shoot the older style TS, and the buffers were a hard plastic, black in color. After about 700-800 they were pretty banged up. Could maybe get 1000 but by then I would definitely have a few black pieces floating around in the gun.

Ok, helps..... The plastic right now is not as soft as it was when new. Sitting at about 500 rounds probably. Will keep an eye peeled for little pieces coming off.

I was only getting a few hundred rounds on my older ts
. I had called cz custom and they told me not to bother with the buffers.

My shadowmate has buffers. They're pretty soft, like a silicone. They have seen 2,000 rounds and are holding up well. From what I gather, the buffers are a need when running lighter springs. Well, to save the frame from getting beat up.
