tactical stock for sks

One that's on it was "tactical" enough for the Red Army.

It may not be black and plastic and all glitzy, but wood laminates don't dry out by outgassing the way plastics do, nor are they anything like as much affected by ultraviolet radiation. In short, they are tougher and last a lot longer.

My SKS has a wood laminate stock.

I'm keeping it that way because it's BETTER that way.

I note the very low post count. Welcome aboard, friend!

Hang around this forum and you can learn a lot about how the things are built and why they are built that way.

You will even learn that I am a crusty old b*stard who is cruel to kittens (so sez Miss Dufis B. Underfoot), but I do know my stuff (most of the time).
.

smellie is right, but you should just ignore him and buy yourself a nice plastic stock... then you can send that crumby old wooden stock to me. :)

I was wondering the same thing myself. I have two with the tapco stocks and they are sweet but ive been looking for something else then a tapco or ati (i think its called) to fix my other two up. Is there any other brands out there?

Yup ive tried google, it has a little bit but it all comes up in the usa so I just was wondering anyone knew of a dealer that had a good selection. Thanks for the suggestion thou.

I have an ATI strikeforce stock with the scorpion recoil system (they like to make it sound super intense). It works great. I like'd the look of the wood, but I am 6'5" and that chinese wood stock length of pull was about 3" short of what is comfortable for me. I picked it up at the gun show in April here in Calgary.
As for online Canadian retailers, I know Westrifle sells them (without the scorpion recoil system).
