Tactical Stock Idea's

I finally made up my mind & purchased a Cadex Defence Strike 30 Chassis. Really good deal... well... as good as you can get when you drop a dime on this Chassis.

When I reasearched Cadex Defence I didn't realize that they designed the Remington (RACS) Chassis 2 years ago. Remington took the design & decided to manufacture it else where. The Strike 30/33 Chassis modeled the RACS but has been further developed by Cadex to make it lighter and to remove any flex.

I'm pretty stoaked, but have to wait 4-6 weeks before I receive it. I'll post pics of the build.

I'm digging the new 'Carbon' chasis from XLR

Any complaints?

One complaint- I need to learn to shoot better because the rifle is too good:D Group shot off a Atlas V8 bipod and rear bag in the winter at SSR a couple weeks ago... 3rds only@100 yards

Still need time to make a proper load for it:redface:

That's a pretty sweet 10 round grouping! :D haha!

The XLR carbon chassis do look pretty sweet... what's the length of your barrel, length of the forend & length of the barrel protruding from the forend?

I was talking with the gunsmith that i deal with, he told me he had a customer with one of the chassis that clamp down on the action (ie XLR) and he told me every time he unbolted and re-torqued the clamp, the POI changed. Just something to think about if you plan to get your chassis dirty and unbolt to clean it.

The XLR chassis uses the same action bolts as a regular stock. Where did you get your info?

J Allen Stock

Have a look at the J Allen Stock
You can buy them in Canada from Wolverine.

I have the one on order for M14 and the Rem 700 version is almost the same.

Looks sweet too.

Okay, I'm blind (almost without my reading glasses) but I cannot find anything about J Allen Stock at Wolverines... I'll keep looking.

In the meantime, can you send / post a link to the J Allen Stock on the Wolverine website?

Cheers,
Barney
