Tactical style shooting

I am not part of ipsc or done any comp shooting (just targets from a bench).

I keep thinking of this more and more how does a guy get into the tactical move and shoot type of shooting?

I dont know if i can compete but is there somewhere a guy can go and do it recreational?

I attend the sherwood park range near edmonton

Do i need anything? I have a couple pistols. And waiting to build my AR, but i have no chest rig

Don't need a chest rig. Come on out to a match at Spruce Grove and talk to people and check out what they're using before you buy a bunch of useless stuff.

There is nothing tactical about IPSC, it is a game nothing else. I shot it for 10 years and at times, we called it Irrational People Squabbling Constantly.
