Tactical Walls - What's in stock and what's available

Opinions aside, Tactical mirrors and shelving units are classified as a safe.

The tables, night stands, tissue boxes and wall clock does not meet the requirements to be considered a safe.

Again what are you making this legal representation to your customer based on.

The law says otherwise

Shawn

The Firearms Act.

Also samples where shown to the RCMP before the initial import who also deemed the shelves and mirrors to be safes as they are securely fastened down and reinforced.

I too hold Shawn's reservations, but if any proof of approval from rcmp can be shown I would be down to order atleast 2 of them. I would think any sort of official communique from the RCMP would put a lot of people at rest and provide you with much more sales revenue.

Agreed. Unfortunately, all firearm owners have to ensure ABSOLUTE coverage and compliance with our unreasonable laws, and having written conclusive data to back these are crucial. If there is an official document, I'd love to see it, as anyone in the RCMP can say whatever they like, but an official document is more difficult to argue.

Exactly, hearsay, even though I fully believe wonstalls, is still simply hearsay. A simple email chain which includes an official's name and position would help me sleep better at night. Although to be fair, I don't think I would put restricted in there still. But I wonder if you could lock up ammo with a NR in there. Hmmm

I meant whether or not these tacticool walls could be considered a container that would be legal for that application.

Put NR rifles in it...not an issue, as no one knows you have them anyway and thus storage considerations are less of an issue, as you "don't" have them.

Personally, I'd love to put an MPX in one as my "just in case", but that is sketchy without definition of whether one is a safe or not.

Either way, I'm interested in at least one of these. More if they pass the storage muster.
