tacticals for hunting?

Hi I hunt with a tactical rifle a remy 700 P in 300wm. It is heavy but you just have to work out more, plus it helps if you stand hunt and not hump around the bush all day, I figure a rifle is a rifle it shoots bullets as good as the shooter is capable, Personally I think my range is a little better with the mentioned rifle than with some of my others, dont get me wrong I'm not tagging 500+ yard deer or anything but at least I feel comfortable at 300+, and being comfortable is really what the issue is is it not? weight and range wise?
 
I'm using a package very much like Bulldog's minus the brake and it's in 300 WM.
I took my Moose with it this year and took it Elk hunting over to Gold River. I traded my Tikka T3 Lite in for the Tactical because it was heavier due to the cal. It works out really well for me. I'm 59 and have no problem lugging it all day. The break is a heavy lil bugger so I take it off for hunting and I just put the cap on to protect the threaded end of the barrel. I use the break at the range where a long session testing reloads for the 300 can eventually wear a shoulder down, hehe who cares who is shooting next to you he should have protection on too. Anyhow thats my 2cents and it sure does drive them home.
