Tacticool Levergun Pic Thread

Changed out screws and loading gate for a two tone look. Midwest handgaurd was cold so came up with a to paracord wrap it. Also added the Ranger Point Precision trigger which was an awesome upgrade. Have had a lot of fun hunting it in Manitoba but doesn't get much use now that I'm in AB.

Every type of rifle action- bolt, semi, pump, break open- started out using wood stocks. And all of them are available in synthetic and modern versions.

For some reason giving a lever action a modern look to it REALLY REALLY offends a certain type of person.
Pretty funny how people react.
All guns are interesting regardless of looks from a machinery perspective.
An old faller i worked with years ago gave me a piece of advice after i gave him my opinion on something.
Sonny, opinions are like #######s. Everybody has one!
I try to remember that everyday

How you like your r92? Just buyed one in .357 too in sniper grey. Will get the space cowboy treatment also
It shoots fantastic out of the box, I was worried I’d have to slick up the action (based on reviews of the firearm) but upon my first full disassembly there were no rough machined surfaces. Only thing I suggest is to do a full takedown and make sure screws are torqued appropriately.

Be cautious with those Rossi flat head screws, they are pretty soft. When I was removing the magtube retaining screw, the slot for the flat head deformed easily. I ended up just boring out the screw hole in the bottom of the mag tube and replacing it with and M4. S&W was smart in using torx head screws for the 1854.

Lookin good. Love the old meets new vibe with the Mlok handguard and the original stock with leather cuff. Nice QD sling mount, GrovTec?

Good to know, thank you!

Hey guys! This seems like the right thread to ask for some info. I have a Chiappa 1887 rose box edition, it’s insanely slick and hasn’t done the 1887 jammy stuff at all yet. I noticed it’s drilled and tapped for some rails on the barrel, i think it would be hilarious to toss a rail and a little red dot on there for giggles at the range. Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Thanks guys :) IMG_4895.jpegIMG_4896.jpegIMG_4897.jpeg

Go for it. If you can, throw and M203 on the bottem, a la One Eyed Jack's gun from The Long Kiss Goodnight.

I kinda wish you hadn't posted this. I have a nork 1887 and I don't need anoother one but this Rose Box edtion is so sweet. I am a huge fan of T2 and I am serously contemplating adding this to the collection. Also, please tell me in came in a "rose box".

Holy the M203 on the 1887. You’ve opened my eyes to a whole world of opportunities with that one! These did originally come in a rose box when you bought them new! T2 is my favorite action movie of all time, I already spoke to Chiappa’s customer service about ordering an extra lever for it so i can make my own large loop lever with no trigger guard like the original movie gun! As soon as they have one in stock in the states they’re gonna be sending it up :)

If you have any luck with getting another lever let me know, I will def pull the trigger on this one if I can get a large loop. Like the one I have on my Nork...

I normally think the MI handguard is ugly and definitely would get cold. You've totally turned me around, that paracord wrap is gorgeous

Thanks I am happy how it turned out. Took a lot of time but looks great and practical. It's all one continuous length of 550 cord. Here is the first version of cord I used but you can see the weave a little better. 1000026553.jpg1000026551.jpg
