Tacticool Levergun Pic Thread

Back on topic.
Received my RPP order today. Along with some other goodies and some parts I had in the parts bin.
Pretty happy with the RPP stock. I like the adjustability of it. But over all I think the MI is probably better value. With the MI you get an adjustable cheek riser and you have mlok slots and the QD socket already available. With the RPP you have to order the QD/Mlok panel seperate, same with the cheek riser. The MI is $269usd and the RPP is $265 usd plus $20 for the riser and $20 for the mlok/QD plate.

The RPP is incredibly well made and very nice.

I like this look.

I have the RPP long forend on my R95. I like it, it's much better than the OEM wood. Fills the hand better and lots of room to hang accessories off.

I actually tend to agree. I find the modern stocks to be really fugly. I left the OEM stock on my R95 and just added a saddle type cheek riser. I also dumped the soft, grippy rubber butt pad and went to a thin, slippery plastic butt pad. I found the OEM butt pad to be too long and it tended to grab my clothing as I was shouldering the thing.

Thats a lot of optic for a 38/357. I find that a low profile, more open red dot type sight works really well for these small, handy rifles. Something like a C-More railway would be perfect.
What model is that? The Smith?

Any details on the Chiappa "T model"?
I have the Norinco 1887 T2, which I posted a pick of in this thread but honestly, it's probably one of norinco's worst built guns. I would love a decent 1887 in the T2 format. Just needs a large loop.

yes it is a limited edition of 1000 that retails for about $1550. I was surprised by its weight (8lbs) and you would really have to be the Terminator to shoot it one handed and do the "flip" reload.

Not that T model shown but I have the same gun with the walnut and polished blued/case hardened finish, very fun and quite well made and yeah pretty hefty. No large loop to spin cocking though :-(

I have done the spin or flip ####/reload with mine and it is an absolute bear to do. Mine sits at just under 9lbs I think, and when I first got it I had to practice out in the yard as I feared it would get away from me and go through the drywall. Arnie made it look effort less.

My r92 I can spin all day long but the shells keep falling out.

Pirate604 - took the plunge and just bought a Smith & Wesson 1854. I have done nothing to it YET. Thanks for starting the thread some excellent ideas.
The 1854 has impressed me quite a bit. I Will eventually get either a MI handguard or a RPP as I am not to fond of the magpul. It's a little bulky it terms of shape and size and it just doesn't quite have the cool look to it.

My Trapper I put together, found one at a small shop out east this past fall, then threw a bunch of RPP at it.

I was thinking a tacticool 3030 would be my next build... that or the crypto receiver depend on availability/ reviews from it. I feel like AR parts should do ok in that platform
