As the title says, we really need a pic thread for these space cowboy guns as the fudds in the Hunting and Sporting forum really like to dump on these.

Here's mine.
Smith & Wesson 1854 with a XS scout rail, Leupold Scout and a Magpul ELG. Currently waiting for a RPP stock and quivers, a hand stop and light.

Citadel Levtac 92

I am trying to decide between the MWI stock and the RPP for this one. RPP quiver also on the way for this one.

I used to think they were really ugly too. Then I watched brobee's video, and decided to try one myself..... Doesn't matter what anybody thinks. I have a long list of things I think are ugly. Nobody cares...........

Edit: I got my my XS rail which I might add it required a fair amount of fitting but I am handy with a file so it was kind of fun. Here is what I ended up with. I may strip the finish off the forend though as I find bare wood a lot smoother to bring to shoulder. Do you tac shooters find the metal/plastic forends faster?

Figured I might as well add the USSF Spacebar. It’s just in the photo for fun, does anybody make an 1895 bayonet lug as well as an XL McDonalds picatinny coffe cup holder. I don’t think the 1895 could really support a bayonet effectively but am quite serious about the cup holder.

Here is the original post…
Is this one tacticool? I won it on a facebook group. Last year of the Remington built Marlins. They got all the kinks worked out. Its about as good as my mid 2000s 1894 without issues. I will be getting a full rail for it in a couple weeks and will mount a scout scope then and post more pics. I figure its good enough for T Rexes and stopping cars…..Hot 45/70 loads are an interesting thing to shoot in an 1895.I added some black duct tape to the pad to make it slip into my shoulder but will make a leather butt cover some day.

Pirate604 that S&W looks really nice and I like the idea of not having to have a box full of screw drivers to take it down. Although if I were you I would look into spare parts now since its in production.

The rifle in post #3 is nice, tge others belong in the trash, tge Smith could be saved by going back to stock form, but there's no hope for the Citadel ,

Every type of rifle action- bolt, semi, pump, break open- started out using wood stocks. And all of them are available in synthetic and modern versions.

For some reason giving a lever action a modern look to it REALLY REALLY offends a certain type of person.

Gatehouse, it does not offend me, I would really like to try one for comparison to see how much faster I can shoot. I also have some custom gear so prefer to keep ammo on my chest vs the gun. Looking good though elKrusto! Just wondering what is the point of the hand stops on the forend? Like I said, I shoot cowboy and it’s all about time. Do I need one of these?

Here’s mine—a Marlin 1895 .45-70. The previous owner replaced the sights, fore-end, loading gate, trigger, hammer and takedown screw with Ranger Point Precision parts. When I received the rifle the buttstock was still the original brown laminate so I Krylon’ed it black to match.

Your opinion has been noted and will be appropriately filed where it belongs... the trash.
If you get butt hurt when not everybody gushes over how nice it is, maybe posting on a public forum that has 200K members that have varying tastes might not be for you.

Take a juice box to your safe place and call your therapist
