If tacticool counts for anything, the Choate folder looks better than the bullpup.

The Magal was quietly shelved , as even the patrolman users didn't really see advantages in using it over the 5.56 mm.....

The Choate stocks don't look bad. I'd probably take one over a butler creek anyday, and best of all, it doesn't have those ugly picatinny rails that the mall ninjas seem to be hung up on...

The barrel is 18" though. Still restricted.

That's what mine look's like,side folder and all.
Really light to carry with the side sling.
My barrel's 19 inch's, and it's a .45Win Mag.

I don't mind that look on a newly manufactured one, like these ones are. However, I wouldn't be caught dead bubba-ing up an old milsurp M1 carbine by throwing a bunch of tacticool stuff on it. That just wouldn't be right.

I'd much rather have a good quality repro of a USGI M1 Carbine than this mess.

They make those, too. But they're also more expensive (wood stock vs injection molded stock... hmmm).

They also make a paratrooper model.
