I took off the carry handle and added an Aimpoint PRO and a Magpul backup sight to change my Colt LE6920 from this:

And I really wasn't thrilled with the way my Smith & Wesson MP 15-22 looked in all black, and the sights were pretty weak, so I put on some FDE furniture and rail covers and new Magpul flip-up sights to change it from this:

I actually don't mind the changes their subtle and actually work well....not to far over the edge
 
Mind giving a bit of a review of the M&P15? I have been considering this .223/AR platform for eventual 2/3 gun shooting.
 
Upgrades look good on the M&P. Plus the CTR stock and magpul moe grip are good functional upgrades. For the LE6920, I would consider eventually going Aimpoint T1 or H1 and keep the pro for a rifle with quad rail forend. Just for asthetics. It will no doubt work very well as is. But if keeping the regular handguard then smaller red dot would keep with the smaller size and weight form factor in balance. Might be worthwhile trying the pro on the M&P?
