Taipan evo scout

I bet you're right. The Evo isn't super high on my list, but it IS on the list, and the Scout is more appealing to me.
Agree. Same here. I can see the Evo has improved on the X, but the Scout appears to be an improvement over the Evo.

I don't see a whole lot, if anything on the Scout so it must be truly a bleeding edge model.

Hopefully it's priced within an affordable range, though I may be able to sell off my X and use the bulk of the proceeds on the Scout.

It just hit me that I never thought the day would come when I am excited about a manual action rifle. 10 years ago, I wouldn't have even looked at the ad, much less consider it.

Stupid Liberal Party...

Im a big fan of being able to use my stuff outside the range, so a 12.5" barrel and NR would have been appealing to me back then.

Hell 10 years ago there weren't a lot of good NR semis either, I think 10 years ago would predate the WK-180c and all the stuff that came after it?...

Sooo . . . When are they going to start 'discounting the X and the Evo' in favour of the Scout ? I'd pick up an older one to save 'ammo money'.

You are not seeing much on the scout yet as it's just about to be released in Australia. It will take some time to make its way here.

Some places have limits on stocks and barrel lengths, some people also prefer different stocks and barrel lengths even when not limited by laws and restrictions........there are markets for both models.
