takedown backpacks to carry pcc

I thought 'grey man' was a concept, not an actual product? have a link maybe?

This is the larger 'Greyman' bag I bought last month. I am very impressed with the layout, quality of sewing and parts, the overall sensible nature of the bag. I'm looking for a plastic board of some sort to add to the skinny whole-length pocket against the back, as the foam alone still leaves a couple of bits of my Sig Cross protruding enough to hurt my back. Glad there's that pocket which is perfect for a stiffener... once I find something.

Wait, the sig cross with 16 barrel fit in there? Any pictures? Thanks.

Sure, here you go:

After measuring the Cross with stock folded, I was concerned it may not quite fit, as the dimensions are a bit larger than the published interior dimensions of this longer model of Hazard 4 Grayman. But it turns out to fit just nicely, no stretching at all in any direction. And the internal tensioning straps make it easy to lock the rifle down so it's not going to shift around. That's a Vortex Viper 5-25x scope with a Burris QD mount. Thought I'd have to dismount it and wrap it in a towel or something, but turns out fit isn't a problem at all. The built-in foam inside the back is sturdy enough, but after losing more than 30lbs to the side effects of my cancer treatment drug which among other things prevent eating much... well, I'm too bony and need a layer of something like kydex maybe between the rifle and the foam, to stop the jabby bits from torturing my back. The shoulder strap is generous and well placed for easy load bearing, and there's a webbing secondary strap for stabilizing that across the back.

I did carefully remove two rather too visible rubber patches which were stitched to the exterior. Something about 'civilian gear' or similar. I don't like branding on stuff. A patch remains on the upper end of the side facing my back, but it's not visible to other hikers so I left it in place.

I second this, they were on sale on amazon, fits full length rifle (WK/AR/PCC) when split in upper and lower segments, can fit a bullpup assembled, or both together using the dividers.
Transporting only one rifle will also allow you to carry roughly 400-600 rounds in factory cardboard ammo boxes in all the zippered compartments.

They are not the most discreet given the rectangular size, but very ergonomic and practical.
