Depending on how far you want to take it down, it's not difficult, if you are at al, mechanically inclined.

It is easy.
I rebuilt one about 15 years ago from the parts of two rifles. At my peak, and without rushing, I was able to tear it completely apart and put it back together in about 5 minutes.
After disassembling a Model 94, or an SKS completely for cleaning and oiling, I know why I prefer shooting bolt guns.
