i just bought a colt le6920 and i love it but i also wanna make a C7A1 clone out of the lower. and im really wondering about how to change the stock? is it as easy as unscrewing the buffer tube and replacing it with the full length tube/ fixed stock? ill need to get a proper size/weight spring and buffer right?

Yes it is that easy . But watch you don't loose the take down pin detent & spring when you remove the tube.
Check Arms East site they had complete rifle stock ,tube & buffer w/spring .
If you are going to use your original buffer & spring in a rifle tube , make a spacer so the depth of the rifle tube is the same as the carbine tube.
