Taking Colt Canada build into USA for Course?

So I am planning to build a new course gun for 2020, and I plan to use a CC SAS 15.7 upper. This will be mated to an Aero lower, 14.5 barrel with a pinned and welded muzzle device. Now I know CC can't be imported into the US, but does anyone have experience with bringing in CC parts with a Form 6NIA for courses or shooting competitions?

16 inch is the limit, Americans recognize pinned and welded for length but RCMP do not....I believe colt canada is fine as 6n1a is temporary not permanent import.

Does someone want to educate me on why cc is not allowed for sales in the us? I mean if you put a cc upper on a us lower that meets all the 922r requirements.
