Tale of two Lugers:
I have coming to me two Lugers. I have told a Lady (who is a Grandmother) that I will sell them for the best price I can get and she needs the money to pay bills and such. I have seen then a few times but know only a bit about Lugers. One is a 1937 made by Mauser. It has two mags both a silver colour. All numbers match except the mags. The grip seem a bit darker red than seems normal but I'm not sure. overall I'd call this one good plus with a good only bore.
The other is a 1939 by Mauser in much better condition with a period holster, tool and two blued mags. Again all numbers match except the mags. The holster is in so so condition with split stitching etc. The luger itself seems very close to vg to me....
I have no photos at this point so I know this with be tough but what kinda ballpark asking price should I go for. I'd like to get this Lady as mush as I can and I won't keep a cent for myself......
