Tall sight post for A2 sight. Anyone know where to get 'em?

I'm looking for a few taller (.300, .310") sight posts for A2 front sights (the normal ones are .267-.270"). They have been made by Bushmaster, Colt and DPMS among others. Anyone know where to find these?

No luck at Brownells, Numrich has them but will not ship to Canada, and I can't seem to turn them up anywhere.

Colt part No. SP62447 front sight post for AR6951

Brownell's does list it but is currently out of stock. Maybe ask gun shops that sell Colt if they could order one? Let us know how you make out. I could use a couple myself.
 
Just not much demand since most carbines have F height FSB these days. Hell, most people don't run a fixed FSB either.

Only the few people interested in retro/carry handle uppers need them and we're definitely in the minority.

A bit different, but looks fully adjustable for height.
 
Well your in luck pal, I went through a bin of about 20 A2 front sight posts I got. I do have 1 .310" tall A2 front sight post! You want it? PM me your address and I'll mail it to you man.

Unfortunately, that's how I do my guns. Overkill.

My wallet/credit card HATES me... and that's before all the go fast toys for the car.
 
Wyndham did have them, and they do ship to Canada. However, you can't order online, you have to phone in the order as the site apparently does not properly calculate shipping. I'm all fixed up now, thanks everyone for your help.
