Talley scope mount

Needs some help,

wondering if a low talley in 30mm will clear a Vortex 4-16x44mm on a Remington 700 Short Action?

Given how close my bushnell elite 3-9x40 is to the barrel on my model 700 in talley lows, I'm gonna say it won't clear. I had to cut the bottom out of my butler creek lense cap to fit it over the objective end.

Talley bases are pretty high , I mounted a Bushnell 2.5-16x42 on med. rings with
adequate space .
A 44mm objective may be too much for ''low rings'' .

The base & ring ''game'' is frustrating ,. s

I have medium 30mm with a 50mm scope. Just fits a SA 700 Sendero profile barrel.

Don't think lows will work.

I use the Extra Low to mount my Swaro Habicht and Z3 models that all have 42mm objectives and there is still room for more bezel. Your 44mm should fit.

No. The bolt handle will hit that vortex's rather LARGE ocular bell.
