Taming recoil ...

on a lightweight Sinsinati 12 Ga


A lightweight shotgun is a mixed blessing. Easy to carry around, hard to shoot.

I popped a few 3" Magnum slugs and some turkey loads out of my Sinsinatti... Not something I plan on repeating. Pretty nasty actually. The gun held up better than I did.

I might get an infraction from the "Real Men Don't Flinch" club for admitting it, but I've been known to slip a toque under my shirt to cover my shoulder pocket. That bit of extra padding can make life easier.
