it arived a few days ago,and brought to the range this morning for testing.
1. experienced a lot of miss fire.
2. slide will lock open even1 round left on the mag.( all 6 mags)
has any of you guys have these problems?(custom limited owners)
for problem no.1 - could be the main spring too light?, or firing pin spring .
hope its not the bbl fitted badly that its not align to the firing pin hole, now Im on the guessing game. For problem no.2 it could be the slide stop need a little filling , not to contact the follower, or the other way around, its the follower is activating the slide stop. hope to hear yourexperiences. thanks

Did you remove every inch of packing greese from the gun and clean it before firing? I know it's a silly question, but some people don't.

Are you using reloads or factory ammo?

everything was clean, my reloads has nothing to do with it, it works on my SIG, AND EDGE. like I said, it could be the firingpin/ spring, just hoping its not the bbl positioning

I had simular troubles with mine, call Freedom Ventures they fixed mine up free of charge, very good guys to deal with, as for the slide locking open you may want to try adjusting your grip, my thumb was hitting the slide lock sometimes on the recoil.

Hi There

I have a Tangoglio Stock 9mm.I have found that the factory mainspring is very light and wont work with hard CCI primers,it works 99.5% with Winchester primers and 100% with Federals. The mainspring is pretty hard to change out in the Tanfoglios, but what helped is that I put a CZ firing pin spring in(which is ligter than the Tanfoglios)this helped the misfires alot.None for quite a few thousand with Winchester primers

The slide locking back early could be the OAL of the round being a bit long, strip the gun, leave the slide release in,insert a loaded mag and see whether the bullet is touching the slide stop.Either seat deeper or grind off some slide stop so it doesnt touch

Hope this helps

Straighten the mag spring underneath the mag follower, so the follower wont tilt upwards, which is actuating the slide lock with one round is left in the magazine.
OR... the Dremmel solution. Grind the small piece in the slide stop that is being pushed by the follower.
I'll make you an offer, I will buy it from you to save you from grief:D

The spring must be modified as per nognog suggestion. All trouble come from the mags. :bangHead:
Check your reload. My friend use Titegroup only in his. Make sure you use round nose bullet not flat point. If you want more specific about the reload, pm me.

Janeau, I dont have a problem with regards to the bullet profile, tried the SWC, ROUND, FLAT POINT, it will chamber perfectl. Like I said, its most only the missfires, and locking open slide . Talked with Geo of EGW, explanation with missfires, is that because the firing pin is too light and a little bit thin, so it does not properly fit the hole(loose) causing a primer flow back and its not properly heatreated (soft) with constant dry firing it will eventually create some dent on the end part(firing pin stop) holding it to strike the primer. pls keep me on any updates.

I can also take some materials on the follower, not to activate the slide stop, the thing is I very busy this week, no time to inspect thoroughly, hopefully next week
