tanning a wolf pelt???????

hey guys, i shot a nice big black wolf yesterday and wanted to make a rug but i can't find much info on tanning solutions and instructions and such, anyone out there know anything about making a wolf rug, let me know, thanks, chad

First off, congrads for shooting a wolf. The caribou & moose will thank you. Now do a search for tanning kits. Google is your friend. Once you have it, follow the directions and you're good to go. Oh, by the way...PIC'S PLEASE

Trapper's HIDE TANNING FORMULA

I bought some of this at a pelting competition a couple of years ago.
It works fine providing you follow the instructions and don't rush it.
I haven't done a wolf,but with coyote you have to get them skinned
out fairly quick(so they don't get green belly).Also you don't want any
skin conditions(mainge)as this will contribute to hair slips on your fur.
