Tapco 20rd SKS

I read it several times and it comes across as a solicitation so a tweak on the wording would be nice. There are anti's and law enforcement that read this site so it would be nice to not add fuel to the fire they are always starting. I would love to have full capacity mags but they are not legal so there for I do not posess any. :p

Solicitation!! haha maybe your one of those anti's or law enforcement people? Either way theres nothing wrong with what I said and I think we all agree that they do look cool and thats the only reason I want one.

I read somewhere though that they don't work on a Russian SKS. Is this true?

Works fine on my Russian.

Works perfectly in my 56 Tula. See post #44 of this thread for a picture of this rifle with original birch stock and Tapco mag.

Good looking Russkie there, Drewz! Just wondering if the bipod mounting affects Point of Impact vs. Point of Aim

bjs7293 has one with a scope mounted on the rear sight. Really tempted to bubba my 56.

#### CARER!! HAHAHA NICE. And thanks for the info your sks looks good man. I'll be going all black I think for mine it just seems natural to me.

Mind you yours does look good what color stock is that?

congratulations would you like a medal I can also say they killed Jesus on the Cross its called Freedom of speach!

and for 140 each i can drive down south and get them myself or maybe i should bring some in and charge much less and put that 70$ to shame

I can see 40 $ being a fair price maybe even 50 on a rainy day but 70$

$70 is $60. Canada post is 10 bucks for expresspost shipping.

Just making sure, mine dont seem to fit my original Russian stock which the Tapco site says is normal, it requires filing... I'm just gonna wait til my Tapco stock comes in.

Interesting, I used my 40/5 mag in my wood stock no problem, havent tried the Tapco brand 20/5 in the wood tho.

In my 56 Tula, I had to shave off approximately 1 mm each side of the magazine well. Really easy to do with a Swiss Army knife.
You won't see the mod externally.

Sand then apply some finishing or gunstock oil to the bare wood. 20 minutes work is all.

The original mag will still fit with no problems.

I got one. So cheap, made of plastic. I accidentally stuffed 6 rounds in one, when it's pinned to 5. It just stretched wider. I was having trouble putting it back into my SKS, until I found out why. Needless to say when I forced it in, it wouldn't feed properly... at all. It works fine after working it in, but it's not worth the money. Get something made of metal. That's what I'd suggest. I regret getting this mag, but my internal one is busted, so beggars can't be choosers :(

Internet common knowledge says the metal ones are garbage. You want something that feeds right, just stick with stock.
