In my experience Tapco makes pretty cheap stuff. There 10/22 stocks are awesome. I bought some Tapco magazines a while back and found that when loaded they bulged out and wouldn't fit into the mag well properly. Then 2 of 3 mags started splitting at the seams after being loaded over night. Very disappointed by these cheap magazines.
This was a long time ago though, maybe a year or two, these problems could have been fixed. I have no idea whether they were gen 1 or 2. Tapco itself is a good company, I contacted them asking how I could get some missing pieces for a 10/22 stock and they sent me a whole new stock, with all the pieces, for free. Good company. Lousy product.
