My strong shoulder is angled (Bladed) slightly so it can rock to help difuse recoil rather than straight on where you absorb all of it directly.

Ahh now what you originally said makes more sense! Thank you for the information.
 
I will pay more attention during my next range trips.
See if I am too Square in my stance OR have my Shoulder open to much.

One thing to note in Kev's pic is that even though is is semi-bladed he is still on top of the gun controlling recoil and muzzle rise while driving towards the target. Efficient accurate shooting is the result. This is also why muzzle brakes are so important cause they directly contribute to the above. Guys like Big_Red and others who have BTDT can elaborate even more on this.
