Tapco stock

Look at the dealers up top and go to fabsports.ca. Fabrice has been excellent the times I ordered from him and is a contributing dealer for the forum. I belive he has these in stock.

JUST got my tapco yesterday and it took 10 days, no duties, 20 bucks for shipping... Got it from sksman.com (I'm in Vancouver)

Do the iron sights still work with the front handguard & gas tube installed? I'm thinking of getting one of these but I'm not really convinced yet that it's worth the money.

Yes the iron sights are completely unaffected, the picatinny rail on the gas tube handguard is slotted all the way down the middle so it doesnt affect the sight picture at all

i've got one also and really love it.

i found the front handguard a bit of a task to reinstall.the lever and gas tube are really tight, but that means no play for my red dot.

i would put a little oil on the wire holding the pistol grip compartment in place.
put a little oil in the lever that adjusts the length of the stock also.

also, check to see that the rear sling swivel is not loose.mine flew off after a hundred or so rounds, but it's just a nut and bolt so tighten it down good.

the sks feels much lighter and ergonomics are way better than a wood stock...

my .02...

You will like it. I did so I got a second stock an the stainless gas rod.

You guys talked me into it. I ordered a black T6 with butt pad from sksman also. he is going to be doing up a lot of VCR orders lol .

I just posted a question related to this ( didnt notice this was here) Do you guys know what the total price was shipped all in. Do you know if they ship to Ontario, I assume so.

Mine cost $99 ($89+10 shipping). With exchange it showed as $102.06 on my credit card. Considering it shipped here (BC) I'd assume that they would ship to Ontario.

Just finished the install and it looks like 390dakota's above (the black one except without the banana clip and I have a Norinco scope on mine). It took some time (about 40 minutes) as I wasn't too fresh on disassembly of the SKS. All in all I think it looks sharp...much more battle rifleish.
