Hello Canadian Gun Nutz.

I have a question pertaining to these stocks.
Fabsports located in Quebec has these for sale on their website, however just a month ago I was informed about the lack of export license on Tapco's behalf. Any light that can be shed on this?
Also, anyone used one on a Mini-30? How are they to use with the short 5 round mags?

Thank you.

( Also, not sure if i posted this in the right place, but pistol grips, adjustable stocks and integral rails seem fairly black rifle to me.)

From my experiences I do not beleive what people tell me when it comes to getting stuff from the states , alot of guys order tapco stocks right from places in the states ! I ordered one for my 10/22 from the States and had no problems getting it up here .

Canada is not the problem. The U.S. State Department has the SKS on the restricted list, and as a double whammy, critical parts like barrels are restricted to export et al. Dealers in the U.S. can apply for a permit to export parts for the SKS (like stocks) that are not blanket excluded. Cost is I believe $75,000.00 and you have to sell A LOT of them to make up this amount.

Too bad no one in China has caught onto this and gone into the tactical stock business like the Tapco ones. They'ed be legal for import here no problem as again, Canada is not the ones stopping plastic stocks to come into Canada. If that was the case we'd be swimming in them.

If you're looking for Ruger 10/22 "tactical" stocks check out the Specter Arms S54. I have one and I really like it. Before I got it I was seriously considering selling my 10/22, but now its a great fun plinker!

SKSMAN, Copes distrubuting, Andeans, One Officer, those are a couple of the places off the top of my head in the U.S I have ordered a variety of stocks, parts and what not through in the last 2 months. (not mags though) I was happy with the tapco T6 on my mini 14 as well. for SKS mags, I have been ordering through a place in Canada

I ordered mine from brownells and had no problems at all.

It was cheaper then ordering from fabsports, but looking back i wish i had ordered it from fabs.

Yeah the Fabsports is who im looking at ordering it from.
Has anyone used the stock with the short five round mini 14/30 mags?

What place have you been getting your mags from here , is it zefarm?

To each their own, but most will agree there are a lot better stock options on the market that you can get in Canada.

The internet meme "TAPCOFU**ED" comes to mind.... :D

The picture as I said before.
