Howdy.
Had my Tavor since April 6 and haven't had much time to play around with it yet. I got the model with the full-length factory rail because I like irons and wanted to have a decent set of BUIS on it. I was just dickin around with it last night and noticed that the top rail seems to have a bit of play in it. Not so much that flops around if you shake the rifle or anything, but if you grab the top of the rail and give it a wiggle from side to side, you can see movement (more so toward the front.)
I definitely haven't had a chance to go over all the fasteners yet, and I will when I get home tonight, but figured I might be able to get a bit of feedback from you guys in the meantime. Anyone notice this?
I certainly hope it is just a couple loose fasteners, considering what these guns retail for.
Thanks,
Kagia

Hotel I believe you and I have canada ammo rails, which are aftermarket. Mine is also solid as a rock (pain in the ass to install)

Kaiga has one that is factory railed, which is somewhat concerning.

Do you know how to strip your tavor down to the barrel? Might be worth doing to check the state of the screws mounting your factory rail.

Nooooo, I have no idea how to do anything other than the basic field-strip. Doesn't seem like much info out there and I haven't had much time to play around with it yet.

Thanks for the replies!

Btw, I think I recall you saying something about doing a detailed video on disassembly/cleaning? :D
