Does anyone know what sights will fit this model? I cant find any info what so ever. I have the measurements of the dovetails if it might help.

Thanks. The description states that any night sights " from any reputable manufacture" will fit. Very hard to believe.

From my understanding Glock rear sights will fit and I believe it was Sig front sights. I could be completely wrong as I just got my TM9 and I also can’t really find much info on them. I agree that new sights would be beneficial especially with fibre optic sights.

That's what I understand as well. Maybe when the restrictions are lifted I will take it to my club and see what they have in stock to match.

Also does anyone happen to know if a holster for a Glock 17 would fit this? Trying to find a holster for this thing is a pain lol

I bought "Glock 17 Holsters, OWB Holster for Glock 17 22 31 Gen 1 2 3 4 5, Polymer Outside The Waistband Paddle Holster - 360° Adjustable, Tactical Pistol Gun Belt Holster - Right Hand" from Amazon.ca. Works fine for my Tara.

That’s awesome to hear, I wasn’t sure how it would fit as the Tara TM9 has the ambi mag release. But now that I know a holster for a Glock 17 will fit it I’ll be buying one now. Thanks

How are you guys all liking your Tara TM-9? The reviews I have seen are horrible, but I would like to hear from everyday real people owners.

The "double action" first shot trigger pull is horrible. Think of the worst trigger pull you have ever had and then imagine it is worse than that. Like really really bad.

After the first shot, if you don't let the trigger return all the way but release it to the "first click" position (single action?) then the trigger and all subsequent shots (with this single action) are fine. So I expect to miss the target with my first shot, then hit it with the next shots.

Plus for me, whoever or whatever pinned the mags did a horrible job. I have 5 magazines. 2 are pinned to 9, 3 to 10 rounds, but one of my 10 round magazines will lock the slide open after 9 of the 10 rounds have been fired. No idea why. Buddy & I examined it plus one that works fine and we see no difference.

My Tara has maybe 500 rounds through it without any issues with the gun itself. All handloads, 115gr Campro projectiles with W231 powder. Always goes Bang. Feels fine in my hands. Works fine with my Glock 17 holster.

I much prefer the 9mm Norincos (Sig clones) over the Tara TM-9. However, I bought it because I wanted a low cost 9mm that I can put on my Form 6 for taking it over the US border for 3-gun matches once the zombie apocalypse is over and I can't bring Norincos over so at $300 regular price or $269 on sale, the Tara fits that bill (I do not own a Glock and am too cheap to buy one).

1 mag would only hold 9. Rear sight fell off around 75 rounds. That has been addressed but not verified. The trigger is just meh.... All in all same money and get a CZ.

Well I fooled around with my TM9 for about an hour or so tonight before I brought it to the range. I polished the feed ramp, sanded and polished the rails on the frame because I noticed that it was binding a bit. After doing that it was as smooth as my Gen 4 G17 I had. So anyways I brought it to the range and put 250 rounds through it, I did have a single time where it locked back when there was still a round in the mag but that only happened once. All in all after some slight alterations to it, it ran basically flawlessly for me. I’ll be taking it back to the range this weekend along with my freshly built 9” GSG16 to throw more rounds down range with my kids.

So I contacted Tara reps in the us. The sights are supposedly upgradable to Sig P226 sights. Did not verify. I shot the pistol a few times and did not have any feeding or extraction issues yet. Likes 124 grains better. Wish the trigger could be cleaned up and made crisper. Still looking for a store that has the trijicon orange night sights in stock.

On another note, seems these pistols were not supposed to be sold for commercial use but as trainer pistols... They work fine as pistols but were assembled with "leftover" parts and not QC'd much.
