I am just starting into BR50 and BR100 with my .22 rifle. I have a cheap scope mounted but need something better...quicker. I have many questions which I know will get answered here with honesty. Reticle.....fine crosshairs only...fine crosshairs with a dot...dot only? Power...I have heard everything from 10X to 36X....variable and not....center parralax adjust...target turrets... size of objective lens...which maker is best?...new or used????? I do not want to spend more than I paid for my rifle (Anschutz 54 SM). I do know that you get what you pay for. Honest opinions? Dave
PS - I do need to add here that I am 60ish and have noted that the horizontal crosshair in most cheaper scopes is blurry or appears "double". The only fix I have found for this is the quick adjust eyepiece on Bushnell scopes which, when turned out, will bring this and target into clear focus. TKS, Dave
