Last night I had a problem with my Taurus 357 that was the same as I had with my Taurus 38Spl last week.
All of a sudden, the hammer was locked up and would not ####. The cylinder relase catch was stuck in the forward position. I could pull it back, in order to #### the gun, but it was spring loaded in the wrong direction.
In both cases the problem cured itself after a few shots.
Any idea what causes this?
