Tasco 6-24X42

I guys I just wat to know if you think that a tasco 6-24 42mm target and varmint would be a good choice for my .22lr. I found a guy not far from my place that want to sell his and he ask 80$ for it and he say that there are some scratches on it due to intall.

That scope has too much magnification for a .22 LR. PLUS, you can buy one new for $20 bucks more. Tell him $60 max. Better off going with a 3-9 x magnification if you can.

I put the Tasco 2.5-10 mildot on my .22 and I think it's a much better choice.

The 6-24x42 is not a bad scope for the money, and I've got a couple of rifles wearing them, but way too big and too much magnification for a .22 lr.

the guays agreed to let it go at 60$ but you guys got me thinking... I have a cheap 3-7 bushnell sportview I used to have on a air gun... I could use that 60$ on a bipod...

I use it for my 22 and I love it. I don't think it's too much magnification, but somesay it is.

I put an 8-32 crosfire on one of my 22's. Works great for me.
