Tasco Advice

I have a line on a Tasco TG104050DS scope for $50. The $50 is a good deal but what can you tell me about the scope.

You are throwing your money away. I've never seen a tasco that had decent clarity. At least upgrade to a lower end bushnel like a banner. General rule is to spend at least half as much for the scope as the gun.

I have several Tasco 6x24x varmint scopes that have been on a few guns. Not a problem with any of them after being on a 30-06, 270 and a couple years on the .223. They are now on .22s and clear as a bell...ya can see the color of the eyes at 100 plus.
