Has anyone any experience with a Tasco Pro Point Red Dot sight ? I bought a 2240 Crosman pistol and I am looking for some sort of sight for it. I tried a Crosman Red Dot/Junk and a NcStar Red Dot/Too Big sight. So far these Dots look more like a Star than a dot. The Tasco is 3 1/2" long compared to the NcStar at 5 1/2" Anyone have any suggestions ???

I have one. Works well for action shooting at close ranges on my CZ 858. I can get decent groups at 50m but at 100m they open up to about 5 - 8 inches. The dot is 5 moa and is really big on the 100m targets, but for an air pistol application you should be good to go.

Try to find an older, almost new or slightly used Tasco ProPoint PDP2. They have the 30 mm tube. More suited to pistols, IMO. I have a couple that I used for a 1911 and one still on my S&W .22 revolver.

still a dot. Indoors and when pointed at close range it appears like a star, but so does any red dot. You need to take it outdoors or somewhere well lit, and it will appear like normal. If you havent done this with your red dot plese do. I thought the same when I first took the tasco out and pointed it around my bedroom. Looked huge and not much like a dot.

If the dot looks like a star, try lowering the dot brightness.
