They any good?

I was looking at the 3-9x32mm model while I was waiting for my g/f to do some shopping at Wally World. $65 and GST for the scope, rings, and see-thru cover (it has a tinted lens, for flat light conditions, I'd assume)

Looks like it'd be a nice scope to mount on top of the Cooey until I get my hands on a better .22. They also had a 3-9x20mm scope going for about $30... but it looked a little TOO small for the likes of me to use well.

I checked out the Bushnell 4x32 while I was there, but it had no rings, so I wasn't overly keen on it. but I don't know if that one was rimfire or centerfire. if it was centerfire, it'd make a good candidate for mountin on an SKS :p

Any input? I'm not planning on spending much more than $70 on a scope, so any posts saying to get something excpensive wwill be ignored.

Whatcha figure?

They're ok. Depends how fussy you are on quality. I'd spend another $20 or so on a Tasco Varmint 2.5-10x given a choice. I put a Tasco Mag .22 Riflescope 3-9 x 32mm on my Brno #5 because it fit the best with the medium mounts and I didn't want high mounts. In my opinion a true piece of crap is something like the $10 Tasco or Bushnell 4 X 15mm. Not even fit for a cheap airgun.

Grizz I think we have the same model you were looking at in Wally Mart for $56 plus GST. If it is the same one this is decent scope that we use on all our package rifle/scope set ups. These have lifetime warranty and are service by Bushnell Canada as they own Tasco now. Phil.

Thanks for the heads-up, Phil!

I'll dig up the part number, and shoot you a PM. Depending on what my pay sched is at the new job, I might be paying you a visit next thursday or Friday :D
