Tasco Target/Varmint quality?

I have the $99.00 2.5-10x42 Varmint/Tactical mildot on my HK SL8 .223 and after a few hundred rounds no longer holds zero. You get what you pay for.

Send it back for repair. You may be lucky enough to get a free replacement!

just put a 6-24x42mm AO with mildot onto my 10/22T.... optics look clear and all adjustments are easy to make.

I just wish that they made aside adjusment AO ..... for $99 at wholesale though I would say they are the perfect scope for a 10/22.

I just put the same scope on my 10/22. I was at the range last week, it seemed to be holding zero, and the mildots are sure fun at 100+. What kind of rings are you using. my scope seems to be sitting a little low for me with the yukon revival stock.

While not bad for the money, my young eyes have become a bit snobby with optics. When comparing the Tasco 6-24 to my Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24, the difference is clear (indeed, apples or oranges). Light transmission and clarity were the big differences, as was the general fit and finish of the scope. For the money, a Tasco is a decent buy but as was mentioned, do not expect these scopes to perform like $600+ scopes.
